Bargain West Ham target back on Tottenham radar; club ‘can’t refuse’ right offer

Tottenham have reportedly re-joined the list of suitors for Rubin Kazan winger Khvicha Kvaratskhelia who is available for the right price.

Spurs were initially linked with the 20-year-old back in the summer. The Georgia international has caught the eye with his displays in the Russian Premier League. And the north Londoners were in a battle with AC Milan for his signature.

However, nothing materialised and the youngster continued to ply his trade for the Red-Greens. Milan were unsure whether paying the asking price of £15m was good business.

However, he appears to be back on the radar of several clubs after a solid first half of 2021-2022. Earlier this week, it was reported that West Ham United have already ‘made an approach’ for the wide man.

David Moyes is seeking more firepower for his top-four challenging side. While not a prolific goal scorer, Kvaratskhelia is an exciting talent capable of providing assists and creating opportunities.

And Antonio Conte is reportedly a fan. Rubin Kazan’s general director, Rustem Saimanov, has now lifted the lid on his plans for the starlet.

And it appears as though he will accept a €20m offer.

“What if they (interested clubs) offer 20 million (euros) for him? (Then) I can’t refuse,” he told Soccer RU.

Capped 12 time by his country, the Tbilisi-born player was a target for director of football Fabio Paratici in the summer. His agent confirmed at the time that the capital outfit had shown interest in the ex- Rustavi star.

However, the Premier League club did not table an official bid.

Kvaratskhelia among many Tottenham targets

Kvaratskhelia is a player who will get fans off their seats. He is an excellent dribbler of the ball and has an ability to beat players at will.

But he is far from the finished product and Conte has eyes on other stars as well. Barcelona star Philippe Coutinho is coming to the end of his stint at the Nou Camp.

The 29-year-old does not appear to be in the plans of new manager Xavi. And a recent report claimed he is ‘seduced’ by the idea of joining Spurs.

Barca need to sell players this winter if they are to complete the capture of Manchester City forward Ferran Torres. Arsenal were in the frame to land the former Liverpool ace.

But Sport Witness state Tottenham are also in with a chance. The Brazilian is keen on the idea of playing under Conte, according to reports.
