Euro Paper Talk: Granovskaia green light to sign incredible £249m trio to transform Chelsea; Bale set for shock Prem move

Chelsea are planning three incredible signings to take Thomas Tuchel’s side to another level, Gareth Bale is being linked with a surprise move to Merseyside, while Tuesday’s Euro Paper Talk has details of a swap deal between Manchester United and Juventus.

SANCHO, LUKAKU SET FOR CHELSEA

Chelsea have signalled their intent to make three major signings this summer that they hope can turn Thomas Tuchel’s side into Premier League champions.

The Blues have made big strides since Thomas Tuchel replaced Frank Lampard at the helm. They are well placed to secure a top-four finish and will reach the Champions League final if they keep a clean sheet against Real Madrid.

However, plans are afoot to take the Blues to the next level and become challengers to Manchester City for the Premier League crown.

As per BILD, Tuchel is lining up a raid on Borussia Dortmund for Jadon Sancho. The German paper claims the Blues are the most likely contenders for the England winger. Furthermore, while Dortmund were seeking £107m last summer, he now looks set to leave for just £78m.

As well as Sancho, Tuchel also wants a top striker to replace the misfiring Timo Werner. The German cost £47m from RB Leipzig last summer, but has failed to find his best form.

As such, director Marina Granovskaia has given Chelsea the green light to re-sign Romelu Lukaku. The 27-year-old has emerged as one of the world’s best No 9s under Antonio Conte at Inter. However, it’s reported he can leave for a fee of £105m.

Kounde also linked with Chelsea

The Blues won’t stop there, however, and also have Sevilla’s Jules Kounde in their sights.

According to La Razon, Sevilla are likely to have to sell the defender this summer for a fee of €70m (£66m).

The Spanish outlet claims Chelsea are ‘best placed’ to sign Kounde.

The three deals would cost an eye-watering £249m and have apparently been signed off by Granovskaia.

However, it’s likely there will also be several departures this summer. Indeed, Tammy Abraham, Werner and Hakim Ziyech are among those who may depart to help cover some of that cost.
