The Glazers could be closing in on a sensational summer transfer deal for Manchester United, while Arsenal are ready to reignite their bid to sign a Ligue 1 playmaker, according to Thursday’s transfer gossip.
SENSATIONAL RONALDO RETURN BACK ON
Cristiano Ronaldo is back on Manchester United’s transfer radar, with reports claiming that the Glazers have held talks over a sensational return for the winger.
Ronaldo’s time at Allianz Stadium appears to be winding down, with the Portugal international not ruling out an Old Trafford return in the past.
And a blockbuster deal could now be about to happen, as reported in the Daily Express.
The Glazers have reportedly talked with the player’s agent, Jorge Mendes, about a Hollywood transfer deal at the end of the campaign.
And Ronaldo already appears to have said goodbye to Juventus, dropping a hint on social media that he’d achieved everything he wanted to during his three years in Italy.
As part of his statement, he said: “Nothing compares to the feeling of knowing that I’ve left my mark in the countries where I’ve played, and that I gave joy to the fans of the clubs I represented.

United could have done with an in-form Ronaldo as they struggled to break down a stubborn Villarreal defence in Wednesday night’s Europa League final.
