Prolific UEFA Youth League star considering PSG exit with Wolves submitting bid
Paris Saint-Germain youth star Djeidi Gassama is reportedly considering a move away from the Ligue 1 giants, with Wolves heading the queue for his signature.
Gassama has been one of the standout stars in the UEFA Youth League this season. The 18-year-old has eight goal involvements in six games in the competition this term.
The left-winger is the joint-third top-scorer in the competition this season. He is joined by Manchester City’s James McAtee on five goals, and may soon join him in the Premier League.
That is according to HITC, who report Wolves have made PSG an offer for the youngster. That offer is reported to be a loan with an option to buy.
Granted, he has been prolific in PSG colours in their Under-19 side. However, the Ligue 1 giants have an embarrassment of forward talent in the senior squad.
Indeed, the likes of Lionel Messi, Kylian Mbappe and Neymar are all PSG forwards. As such, Gassama may find it tough to break into the first team.
A move to Wolves could be good for his career, as he would likely be a more important player there in years to come. What’s more, he is reportedly considering a move away from PSG.
However, the Molineux outfit are not alone in their pursuit of Gassama.
The report claims Hamburg and FC Basel have also made loan-to-buy offers for the winger.
Wolves may have a tough task on their hands in trying to land the star.
Gassama and Ramsey could join Wolves
In other news, Aaron Ramsey could finally be headed back to the Premier League. The Welshman has been on the radar of many Prem sides in recent weeks.
A report claims that Wolves are looking to pip Rangers to the signing of the midfielder.
Juventus are trying to force Ramsey out, and they presumably will not care where he goes.
As such, should Wolves make a decent offer to him, he may finally leave Turin.
