Manchester United are readying an approach for Youri Tielemans amid claims of a big price drop, Liverpool are firmly in the mix to sign a Barcelona man, while Tuesday’s Euro Paper Talk claims Newcastle will shatter their record for a Spain star.
YOURI TIELEMANS IS TOP MANCHESTER UNITED TARGET
Manchester United will prioritise the signing of Youri Tielemans this summer – having learned they can land the Belgian for a bargain fee.
Ralf Rangnick quickly identified the midfield as United’s major area of weakness – and he set about strengthening his options in the middle of the park.
The likes of Amadou Haidara and Declan Rice have all been linked with moves to the Red Devils.
However, with just 12 months remaining on his deal, United are understood to be prioritising a move for Tielemans.
The Belgian has established himself as one of the Premier League’s best midfielders. But with just a year left on his deal, Leicester will be open to offers this summer.
Now Fabrizio Romano, speaking to The United Stand and as cited by Caught Offside, claims the price for Tielemans is dropping considerably.
The Foxes were seeking £60m last summer. However, they will now consider his sale for a fee nearer £45m.

As such, he is seemingly top of their wanted list this summer with Paul Pogba likely to make way.
His loss will hit United in the pocket given their £89.3m investment for him back in 2016.
However, many will feel the addition of Tielemans will be an upgrade in their midfield given Pogba’s inconsistencies.
