Liverpool line up £87m move for UCL semi-finalist to replace Mohamed Salah

Liverpool are interested in signing Bradley Barcola from PSG as a replacement for Mohamed Salah.

The Egyptian has decided to leave the club in the summer, and the 23-year-old French international would be a quality replacement. He is a young player with a lot of potential, and he has shown his quality in Ligue 1 and in the UEFA Champions League.

He will only improve with coaching and experience, and he could develop into a future star with the right guidance. Barcola has 12 goals and seven assists this season.

According to reports from Spain, Liverpool are prepared to pay £87 million for the attacker. It remains to be seen whether PSG is prepared to sanction his departure. Barcola is an important first-team player for them, and they will not want to weaken the attacking unit in the summer.

Meanwhile, the French international has not been a guaranteed starter for PSG this season. He will look to play every week, and a move to Liverpool could be ideal in that regard. They will be able to offer him regular starting opportunities.

Barcola can operate on either flank, and he will add pace, flair, and unpredictability going forward. He has the technical attributes to thrive in the Premier League, and regular football in England could bring out the best in him.

Liverpool are among the biggest clubs in the world, and the opportunity to play for them could be attractive. The player will want to compete at the highest level regularly, and the move to Liverpool might not be a bad option for him if PSG is unwilling to offer him gametime every week.

The French outfit have Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, Ousmane Dembele and Desire Doue at their disposal. Barcola might struggle to play every week with them.

Liverpool watched the player closely when he helped PSG beat the Reds on their way to the Champions League semi-finals this season. It remains to be seen whether they can get the deal done.
