Europa League draw: West Ham face French foes but Barcelona await; Rangers heading to Portugal

West Ham will take on Lyon in the quarter-finals of the Europa League, while Rangers will face Braga, following the draw on Friday.

David Moyes’ men booked their place in the last eight after impressively knocking out six-time winners Sevilla in the last-16 on Thursday evening, while Rangers overcame Red Star Belgrade 4-2 on aggregate.

The Hammers, who could face Barcelona in the last four, will be at home in the first leg before travelling to France. Gers, meanwhile, head to Portugal before hosting Braga in the return leg.

The British sides have also been kept apart in the semi-final draw. To that end, they could end up meeting in the final in Seville in May.
