Manchester City won the league title in 2021 and it’s no surprise to learn they’ve accumulated the most points over the course of this calendar year – but there’s a surprise team above both Liverpool and Manchester United.
With 2021 seeing the return of supporters to stadiums and a number of managerial changes, it’s been an eventful year in the Premier League. Our table certainly reflects that.
We’ve taken a look at how the Premier League table would look if it began at the start of the calendar year. Note: all teams have played 31 league games unless it’s stated otherwise.
