Midfield monster drops Man Utd transfer hint after reacting to Sancho news

Manchester United target Eduardo Camavinga has dropped a subtle hint that a move to Old Trafford could still be on the cards this summer after reacting to talk of Jadon Sancho’s imminent switch.

The Rennes and France star has ‘liked’ a post about Sancho’s impending £73m move, a figure that has dropped significantly after the Red Devils were quoted £108m just 12 months ago. The player, who has been on United’s radar for more than two years, is expected to have his medical after England’s Euro 2020 quarter-final clash with Ukraine.

And Sancho could now be joined at the club by Camavinga, who is another player on the club’s radar.

The France international has teased that he is impressed by United’s business by ‘liking’ a post on social media about Sancho.

The Daily Express, via 433, stated that while Camavinga did not actually say anything about Sancho’s transfer, it appears that he’s a fan of the switch.

The 18-year-old, who is also on Real Madrid’s radar, has been a target for United since last summer.

And it would seem that there is a strong possibility that a deal could be done.

Solskjaer wants three more additions

A centre-back, a new right-back and a midfielder are all priority areas that United want to invest in this summer.

Raphael Varane remains their top central defensive target, with the latest reports suggesting that move will happen.

The France star has been on United’s radar since legendary boss Sir Alex Ferguson was still the manager.

As for a new right-back, the Red Devils want a more attacking option than Aaron Wan-Bissaka. The former Crystal Palace man has excelled defensively, but has his limitations going forward.

Atletico Madrid and England star Kieran Trippier has been their top target. However, Rangers star James Tavernier has since emerged as a much cheaper alternative.

As for Camavinga, he’s viewed as a player who could play in United’s engine room for the next 10 years.

With Paul Pogba’s future still up in the air, United are actively looking at central midfielders. That is if the France still decides to leave.
