**(THURS AM) EXCLUSIVE: In-form striker preparing for January move with Liverpool, Everton, West Ham all keen
TEAMtalk understands Daniel Jebbison is preparing to leave Burton Albion in January, but it remains to be seen if he will feature for Sheffield United.
The England youth international chose to join Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink’s side in the summer, rejecting a move to a host of other clubs. It was a real coup for Burton with the youngster keen to learn from the former Chelsea striker. Now the 18-year-old, who made his Premier League debut with the Blades last season, has started to show his real potential.
He now has six goals in 14 games for the League One Brewers, but they look destined to lose the player in January.
Hasselbaink has recently confirmed the Blades hold a recall option on the young striker.
“There is [a recall option] and, no, they [United] haven’t been in touch,” Hasselbaink told the Sheffield Star.
“It’s something I can’t control. We would love to keep him in January but we will see. Hopefully, for his education and development, he needs to play.
“Obviously, they have a new manager now, who was in charge of the under-23s, so he knows him very well.
“But they also have a lot of strikers. So, hopefully, they will do a good thing and leave him with us.”
Sheffield United do have plenty of attacking options, but none of them are hitting the right tune. And new boss Paul Heckingbottom could be about to get a real boost with Jebbison’s return in January.
It’s something many Blades fans have been calling for, given their top scorer is 35-year-old Billy Sharp with five league goals.
However, we understand that a number of Premier League clubs have now joined the chase.
Barcelona watched him in action earlier this season at Fleetwood. While Bayern Munich, Borussia Dortmund and RB Leipzig have been tracking him for more than 12 months.

Liverpool tracking Jebbison
TEAMtalk understands Liverpool, Everton, Brighton and West Ham are all keeping tabs on him.
So while Jebbison looks intent on moving on from Burton, his future could be away from Bramall Lane. His contract expires in May 2022 and any move to another club would see the Blades due a compensation fee.
But for the time being Jebbison is enjoying his football at the Pirelli Stadium
“We keep on putting pressure on him that he has to be the best that he can be, in training and in games. And, at the moment, he is in a good place. Daniel is causing the opposition real problems,” added Hasselbaink, after the striker’s goal against Doncaster.
“He’s got a lot, it’s just putting it all in place at the right time. He’s confident at the moment and I was pleased with his overall play – it was more important than the goal itself.”
